We source our coffee’s from multiple regions including Brazil, Ethiopia, Vietnam and India & Honduras. We particularly like Latin American coffees because of the level of sweetness, and chocolate notes.
Our Espresso and Brazilian Beans are 100% Arabica and come from the Mogiana regions of Sao Paolo, which was named after the Mogiana Railroad Company which built the ‘coffee railroad’ in 1883. We use a ‘Godd Cup Sc 16/17’ bean. The harvest for this region is May-September and it has an altitude of 800-1200m. Our Mogiana is sun dried on patios, and processed using the pulped natural process, which is a hybrid of the dry and washed processes, taking mechanically depulped coffee and then drying it on patios, this increases the sweetness and body of the coffee.
Our Rocket Roast is 100% Vietnamese Robusta, from the Central Highlands region of Vietnam, these beans are selectively hand-picked during the harvest season of November to January, and are wet processed and polished (sc 15). This is a dark, intense coffee, with a caffeine kick.
Our Crema Roast, is a perfectly balanced blend of 4 different coffee beans - Brazil Mogiana region,Ethiopia Djimmah Kaffa region, Indian Karnataka region, Vietnam Central Highlands region. This is a 50% Arabica, 50% Robusta mix. This blend has all the highlights of two high quality Arabica beans, and all the strength and depth of Robusta creating an ideal espresso coffee.
Our Decaffeinated coffee comes from the Cerrado de Minas area of Brazil. This is ‘strictly high grown - top lot’ coffee which is decaffeinated using the a standard, solvent method.
